CHEHALIS BRIDGE

Good afternoon everyone,
Tomorrow morning, Tuesday Jan.12,2010 we will be starting the
second stage of rehabilitation of the Chehalis River Bridge.
It is our intention at this point to do this work
from 0800 hrs until 0430 hrs.
Monday through Friday only, and there will 20 minute closures
throughout the day to all traffic.
If we find the work cannot be carried efficiently during week days
we may have to consider working nights and having longer closures
during the night.
We will make exceptions for emergency vehicles and school buses only
during this time period.
Your patience during this ongoing work is appreciated.
Please remember the Chehalis Bridge has lower weight restrictions until the
structure can be repaired or replaced.
If you are planning on any heavy loads for construction or renovations of any type
please make sure you check with highways before hand.
Special requests for vehicles in excess of this weight will be addressed by the
District Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure staff in
Chilliwack at (604) 795-8211.

Zoning By-Law Meetings for Hemlock Valley Property Owners
The FVRD staff has started working on the review of the
Zoning By-Laws for Hemlock Valley and will be hosting several
community meetings in the near future.
Members of the HVHA will receive notification of the time and
place for the first meeting via HVHA e-mail and the information
will also be posted on this site.
