The FVRD staff has started working on the review of the
Zoning By-Laws for Hemlock Valley and will be hosting several
community meetings in the near future.
Members of the HVHA will receive notification of the time and
place for the first meeting via HVHA e-mail and the information
will also be posted on this site.

A couple of issues of concern,
Areas may become "No Rental" zones,
Densities of some undeveloped lots may be reduced,
6 plex lot reduced to a duplex lot, 4 plex lot to a duplex lot,
without any compensation.

Please remember the Chehalis Bridge has lower weight restrictions until the
repairs to the structure can completed.
If you are planning on any heavy loads for construction or renovations of any type
please make sure you check with highways before hand.
Special requests for vehicles in excess of this weight will be addressed by the
District Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure staff in
Chilliwack at (604) 795-8211.
The First Stage of repairs seems to be completed as the 24 hour traffic control
crews are no longer on scene and the construction trailer is gone.
Please heed the information above if you are planning to have anything heavy shipped to Hemlock.
